BibliU is a digital learning platform that is changing the future of the multi-billion-dollar textbook industry. Our mission is to shake up higher education and make reading materials more accessible and learning more effective. We do this by making textbooks and monographs more affordable for students, so that in most cases, they are included in tuition costs. We have incorporated accessibility features to accommodate multiple learning styles and the different needs and preferences of each student.

BibliU has grown rapidly, and during this time we have created Europe's largest digital education content programme, in partnership with Coventry University. Upon entering the US market, we have secured the largest digital textbook programmes in the US with Phoenix and Grand Canyon Universities.

We are working with over 60% of universities in the United Kingdom, and are steadily growing in the US . We have recently raised $10 million in a Series A investment round (you can read more about this on Sky News and EdSurge) and have ambitious plans for continued growth and expansion.

Our team of 70+, of which half the senior management team are women, are currently seeking a multi-talented Chief of Staff who will encapsulate the direction that drives teams forward, while also acting as the glue for successful communications and strategic alignment across our global, cross-functional, product-driven team.


  • Provide legal and administrative support

  • Correctly interpreting legal documents and creating and building easy to use and understand decision flows that help make sense of how legal documents are constructed for customer use

  • Acting as the first point of contact alongside the General Counsel for all contractual queries, both internally and externally, with a strong focus on our customer and publisher agreements

  • Overseeing the management and secure storage of all commercial contracts, helping to create a fit for purpose centralised, and easily accessible, contract management system

  • Working in partnership with the team to review, negotiate & renew commercial contracts

  • Monitoring and managing contract life cycles, assisting with contract extensions, terminations, amendments and data processing instructions

  • Assist with answering ad hoc legal questions and providing legal advice to BibliU employees

Job requirements

What we are looking for

  • Law degree, or Graduate Diploma in Law; LPC desirable but not required;

  • Prior experience as a Paralegal is a plus

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Self-starter with strong bias for action and keen attention to detail

  • Excellent organisational and project management skills;

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;

  • Good judgment and the ability to recognise when to escalate an issue;
